The Ellman Pelleve is a Radio-Frequency (RF) electrosurgical tool used to remove benign raised skin lesions for cosmetic purposes. Moles, warts, seborrheic keratoses, skin tags, and other suitable benign skin lesions can be removed this way.
- Your doctor will determine if the lesion is suitable for this treatment.
- In some cases, a mole may contain deeper pigmentation, requiring a minor surgical procedure to ensure complete removal
- A small dose of local anesthetic is infiltrated into the skin under the lesion.
- Removal generally takes a matter of minutes.
- The area may remain reddened and require dressings for up to 7-10 days.

The benefits of Ellman Pellevé RF removal include:
- Less bleeding, swelling, and scarring compared to scalpel removal
- Improved cosmetic outcome as nearby normal skin is mostly unaffected
